OKR in Leadership Teams
Today, I was invited to Agile Leadership Conference 2025 to give a talk on OKR from a leadership perspective. You can view my slides here.
Essential points:
- Start big and begin with the end in mind – people tend to think work-oriented when looking at shorter time frames
- Don’t limit yourself by structure or thought patterns people like me would like to impose on your OKR system.
- The fewer objectives, the more impact, focus and efficiency.
- Leaders are responsible to take hard decisions and to enable decision making.
- It takes leadership for OKR to truly work.
